If your digital camera displays a “MEMORY CARD IS LOCKED” error message, the problem might be that the tiny lock switch on the SD (Secure Digital) memory card was inadvertantly moved into the locked position.
Take the memory card out of the camera, and take a close look. You’ll probably see the word “Lock” printed along the left side of the memory card.
If the tiny lock switch slider is in the down position, the memory card is locked.
Carefully, and gently slide the tiny lock switch slider into the up postion to unlock the memory card.
