Have you ever tried to download a file …. and your browser tells you that either it’s an auto_file file type, or an unknown file type?
Before you panic, take a moment and think: What browser am I using? If the answer is Mircosoft Internet Explorer, just take a deep breath, and copy the URL from which you are trying to download.
Close Internet Explorer.
Start up Firefox. Paste in the URL, and problem is solved:
